EFERMA is a professional association for teaching, research, and outreach for faculty and students. The purposes of EFERMA:

  • to unite professionals in the field of Family Economics and Resource Management
  • to stimulate personal and professional growth of members, and
  • to expand the effectiveness of Family Economics and Resource Management as a field.

The primary business of EFERMA is a biannual conference, held in even-numbered years. To become a member, subscribe to the EFERMA e-mailing list by contacting the Executive Director. There are no dues or membership fees. The only requirement for membership is to attend at least one conference every five years.
