FERMA is a national professional association for teaching, research, and outreach for faculty, field staff, and students. The purposes of FERMA:
- to unite professionals in the field of Family Economics and Resource Management
- to stimulate personal and professional growth of members, and
- to expand the effectiveness of Family Economics and Resource Management as a field.
The primary business of FERMA is a biennial conference, held in even-numbered years. To become a member, subscribe to the FERMA
e-mailing list by contacting the Executive Director. There are no dues or membership fees. The only requirement for membership is to attend at least one conference every five years.
